It’s late into January and I’m still saying Happy New Year! Do you still do that? Until we hit February 1, I think we still can. I’m looking forward to the fresh start and beginning of something new. Although our days and weeks may look the same, I’m ready to incorporate newness to our routines, home, beauty regimen, and wardrobe … and really, any little thing I can freshen up is always a great idea.
Continue Reading…The Roundup … Read, Listen, Wear & Carry
Going back to the roundup post … this one is all about what to read, listen to, wear and carry. I wrote something similar here and here. Whether its a book I’ve finished, a helpful podcast or a piece of clothing I want to invest in, I’ll be highlighting a roundup of items that I’m loving and find value in, with the hopes that you find a connection too.
Continue Reading…For the Love of Summer
I find joy in each season, as they each have a special something that excites me. The change in the air, the change of colors and the special holidays that each season brings. Summer ushers in a childlike carefree feeling, a time to venture outdoors, wear all the colors and live outside of the usual day-to-day routine.

Never a day goes by where I don’t stop and smile with gratitude for the amazing woman I am lucky to call my Mom! Rounding up some special mothers day gifting ideas for that special someone in your life.
Continue Reading…Life Lately As a Family of Four
Life as a family of four is in full force. Vivienne is just over one month old. She arrived a little over one week before my scheduled c-section date. She actually joined us on the morning of her baby shower … so we missed the party, but had our own little party at the hospital. We are over the moon with this sweet girl.
Continue Reading…No Better Time to Start Organizing
Whether for the home, the car, the office or the dreaded junk drawer, I am using January to get organized now that the holidays are a distant memory and things will soon be much busier in our household. There is no better time to get organized than now.

The official start of the new year exudes feelings of excitement, motivation, uneasinesses and curiosity. In reality, things are still the same, but as every year passes I use these renewed feelings to kick start … my fresh start.
Continue Reading…The Round Up: Brinker and Eliza Jewelry
I have always had a love for jewelry. If you knew me years ago, my right wrist was stacked with all the gold bracelets I could find. Now, I rarely wear anything on my wrists (besides an old gold watch I “borrowed” from my Dad many years ago, and although it stopped working, it is such a sentimental piece). A gold necklace … we all should own one. It looks beautiful against any color or print, dressy or casual. I discovered Brinker & Eliza late last year. I pre-ordered the Spiral Staircase Necklace in November and received it about a month ago. Worth the wait!
I’m delighted to finally sit down and share more on our home purchase last year and the current renovations underway (we are almost done!). Time has been flying by, but moments have also felt like the longest moments in time. When a delay happens, it feels like weeks, and when a certain stage of the reno is complete, we scramble to the next step. All in all, we are overwhelmed with joy to finally design and put all my saved and pinned images to use, buy our favorite fixtures, and continue to scheme and dream up future plans.
Continue Reading…The Spring Shop: Refresh and Reboot
It is almost Spring, with Easter not too far behind. Over the years, Spring has become my favorite of the Seasons, and I like to think of this time as a second chance to refresh and reboot our lives, our home and our routines.
