We planned a perfect getaway to wine country this past weekend. It was very much needed. A time to unwind, relax, and just be us.

Continue Reading…Storage Baskets You Will Love
In pursuit of storage baskets, I’ve come across some amazing shapes, sizes, and woven materials that would suit all home styles. From rattan and wicker, from high-end to budget friendly, there is something for everyone. I have become a big lover of baskets and think its the perfect way to keep everyday items tidy yet accessible. So, whether you have matching rattan baskets under a entry console table or place stacked baskets next to your couch, baskets tie in a cozy, lived in, yet put together look. Sharing some storage baskets you will not want to store away!

I have always had a love for jewelry. If you knew me years ago, my right wrist was stacked with all the gold bracelets I could find. Now, I rarely wear anything on my wrists (besides an old gold watch I “borrowed” from my Dad many years ago, and although it stopped working, it is such a sentimental piece). A gold necklace … we all should own one. It looks beautiful against any color or print, dressy or casual. I discovered Brinker & Eliza late last year. I pre-ordered the Spiral Staircase Necklace in November and received it about a month ago. Worth the wait!
I’m delighted to finally sit down and share more on our home purchase last year and the current renovations underway (we are almost done!). Time has been flying by, but moments have also felt like the longest moments in time. When a delay happens, it feels like weeks, and when a certain stage of the reno is complete, we scramble to the next step. All in all, we are overwhelmed with joy to finally design and put all my saved and pinned images to use, buy our favorite fixtures, and continue to scheme and dream up future plans.

Mother’s, Moms-to-be and those special Mother figures in your life deserve to be celebrated (all year long). What I find most special is a hand written note, photos (that seem to only live on our phones) printed and framed, or a sentimental item for the home that can be passed down. Either way, making Mother’s Day all about Mom is what’s most important!
Continue Reading…Add a Little Spring to Your Step
Slowly step away from your slippers or peel off your cozy socks. I challenge you to start thinking about wearing real, actual shoes. Whether you are dusting off an old pair of heels or adding a new pair to your closet, take that first step … and add a little Spring to your step.
Continue Reading…The Spring Shop: Refresh and Reboot
It is almost Spring, with Easter not too far behind. Over the years, Spring has become my favorite of the Seasons, and I like to think of this time as a second chance to refresh and reboot our lives, our home and our routines.
Continue Reading…Dresses and Getting Dressed Up
With dresses, I lean towards classic more fitted styles, but this past year I have been loving flowy and airy silhouettes. I am drawn to feminine, sometimes frilly looks, but I love a good neutral color, and most certainly won’t pass up a bold color or pattern. So, a bit of everything, always depending on the occasion, of course. Most importantly, it is not just the quality and fit of a dress, but a dress that I am excited to wear, again and again.
Continue Reading…The Bridal Trend I Love
If I could go back to planning my wedding all over again … I would! Wedding decor, linens, the dresses and the planning will always be a slight obsession of mine, and lately I have been swooning over the bridal suit and the blazer that I saw so much of last year. This trend is ridiculously chic. It is a bridal trend I love, and I hope, here to stay.
