I’m so thankful for this all in slow Summer and the easy going planning of filling our days with errands, movies, baseball, lots of relaxing at home, swimming and some getaways. There is something so wonderful about getting up and not having to race around to get out the door. These slow days may be numbered, but until then we’ll be wrapping up Summer with that same carefree ease.

I find joy in each season, as they each have a special something that excites me. The change in the air, the change of colors and the special holidays that each season brings. I love when I’m asked about our favorite toys, products and activities that keep our little one busy. Besides ‘adventure’ walks (these days, ‘adventure drives’), bouncing in the bouncy house or playing in the dirt, I find much joy in sourcing a great toy or book. As best I can, I try to purchase thoughtful items I think Arthur will get much use out of and that have a learning or creative aspect. But not to worry, he has plenty of random toys and missing pieces floating around the house.
