Vivienne is five months old and each day only gets sweeter with her. The smile and giggles and always being entertained by her brother will never get old. Now, with some time under my belt using baby items and gear, I want to share the baby essentials I love and highly recommend.
As mentioned before, I’m making an effort to limit what we bring into the house. Baby gear takes up space, there is a short expiration date on most items as baby grows, you don’t need all the baby gear right away, and so many products are being pushed in our feeds that it becomes overwhelming. So, I am sharing what I use daily right now in the hopes that it should last up to a year or more!
Olli Ella handmade seagrass changing basket If you want something unique, I love the natural look of this changing basket and how it is different from the typical plastic looking and box like pads. Also, it goes so well with Vivi’s sweet little pink room!
Nanobebe silicone baby bottle We have five bottles on rotation and I am not buying anymore. We have this small space saving drying rack (just $30), along with the Baby Brezza (which I am happy to have take up space on our counter). I love the modern look, they are lightweight, and are easy for babies to grasp.
Doona All-in-One Infant Carseat and Stroller It is so convenient to take Vivi in and out of the car without ever having to open the trunk and connect her to another stroller. I just have to lower, click and snap her into the base. Saves so much time and it’s easy to maneuver and travel with (perfect for airports & easy to throw it into this roll-up travel bag at gate check). I should add that the stroller has no storage. Instead of purchasing the larger and pricier storage attachment, I found this small net on Amazon so I can easily throw in the necessities when we are out and about. Easy!
Baby Brezza Formula Pro LIFE CHANGING automated formula dispenser. Basically, a coffee machine for babies. With one push of a button (you can also download the app and make a bottle from bed!), you have a warm bottle ready within seconds. If formula is your thing, move this gift to the top of your wish list! So thankful for this gift.
Coway Air Purifier It is nice to know that the air in Vivi’s room is being filtered out and it doesn’t hurt that the purifier is pink. It comes in a few really great colors to help blend into your home, is easy to clean and discreetly fits perfectly into any small space or corner. We love it!
Canvas Changing Bag This canvas tote was supposed to be the temporary diaper and wipes organizer … well, it’s been five months and it’s still there. I didn’t realize how much I would love this bag and its under $40. It may not look like the pricier and cute acrylic storage I was considering, but I honestly love the look of it on Vivi’s dresser. I can carry it from room to room and plan to use it post-diaper storage.
Hatch Sound Machine We have one for both Viv and Arthur and we love everything about it. Love the design, easy to use app, all the sounds they offer, and the time to rise option.
Ellaola Skincare Hands down my favorite baby skincare products I’ve used thus far. Its clean beauty for babies and so gentle on their delicate skin. It quickly clears up dry skin or redness on her cheeks. The 3-piece hair brush set is also so good. A perfect gift to give.
Kissy Kissy pima cotton footie No one does onesies like Kissy Kissy. Not only is it the softest 100% pima cotton, but Kissy Kissy has the most elegant and classic designs with a wide range of styles and details. These are PJs I approve of Vivi being in all day long.
Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor I love watching Vivi sleep and hang in her crib! The Nanit makes it so easy for us to monitor her when we are in the next room or out to dinner. On the easy to use app, I love checking in on her and hearing her little coos and voice. The music and microphone features are Arthur’s favorite, so he can talk to her in the morning, and it has been very helpful to track her sleeping pattern. A must and easy to install!
